Were seeking someone to join our Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) squad as a Data Protection Specialist. This role is uniquely positioned sitting between our control function and the technology team allowing the successful candidate to positively influence Data Protection control outcomes and influence strategy.

In the Technology division we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer position at Vice President level.

What you’ll do in the role

Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.

Develop and execute the cyber security engineering strategy in line with organizational goals.

Support the development of coherent control requirements form which effective technical solutions can be developed.

Develop and support continuous enhancement of complex processes increasing the effectiveness of Firm controls.

Oversee the implementation of security programs and initiatives across the organization.

Drive the adoption of security best practices and ensure team compliance with security policies.

Collaborate with other technology and business leaders to ensure a cohesive security posture.

Report on security metrics and performance to senior management and stakeholders.

What you’ll bring to the role

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field or equivalent experience.

Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.

In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, risk management and incident response.

Proven ability to develop and execute strategic security initiatives.

Strong understanding of the financial services industry and its unique security challenges.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders.
