ROYC is scaling rapidly as it builds the leading operating and investment enablement partner for private markets in wealth management.
Across private banks, multi-family offices, and wealth managers, client demand for private markets is strong, yet revenue fails to scale due to structural constraints. ROYC exists to remove these constraints by combining institutional investment solutions, wealth-adapted structuring, and a purpose-built operating system.
We are hiring a VP or Director, Client Solutions (Private Wealth) to lead new business generation, commercial origination, solution design, and regional go-to-market ownership for sophisticated private wealth partners in Germany and Austria.
This is a senior, client-facing, cross-functional role sitting between commercial, investment, structuring, and operations. You will own your region end-to-end, with full accountability for new business generation, revenue growth, and long-term partnership development, acting as ROYC’s senior representative and solution partner for private wealth institutions.
You will engage directly with senior decision-makers, apply deep local market understanding, and design solutions that turn private markets from episodic activity into scalable, repeatable, and profitable programs.
You will own ROYC’s private wealth footprint across Germany and Austria, with responsibility for defining and executing the regional commercial strategy.
You are expected to bring strong first-hand knowledge of:
The German and Austrian private banking and wealth management landscape
Differences between universal banks, private banks, independent wealth managers, MFOs, and advisory-driven models
Regulatory, structuring, and operating specificities relevant to private markets, including German and Austrian investor protection regimes and cross-border structuring via Luxembourg
Decision-making processes, partnership behaviour, and buying centres within German and Austrian institutions
You will act as the regional market architect, translating local market realities into ROYC’s Wealth Solutions framework and prioritising opportunities where ROYC is economically essential.
Originate and develop senior relationships with private banks, multi-family offices, and wealth managers across Germany and Austria
Engage CIOs, Heads of Investments, COOs, CTOs, Partners, and senior management as a trusted solution partner
Diagnose the structural constraints that prevent private markets revenue from being created, scaled, or converted
Design tailored solutions across investment programs, structuring, and operating infrastructure
Act as a senior advisor in early-stage conversations, shaping both problem definition and solution architecture
Drive new business generation across Germany and Austria by originating and converting new institutional private wealth partnerships aligned with ROYC’s Wealth Solutions framework
Identify new revenue opportunities where private markets activity exists but is structurally constrained, and position ROYC as the economically essential solution
Open and develop first-of-kind partnerships in the region, including new client types, new operating models, or new deployment formats
Expand ROYC’s footprint within existing relationships by identifying additional use cases, mandates, or solution layers over time
Maintain full accountability for regional revenue growth, from initial origination through to long-term expansion and repeat business
Own the definition and execution of ROYC’s private wealth go-to-market strategy for Germany and Austria
Segment the regional market by institution type, scale, operating maturity, and applicable Wealth Solution use cases
Prioritise target institutions and define phased activation by country and client archetype
Build and activate local private markets ecosystems, including senior advisors, strategic partners, and reference institutions, to accelerate credibility, trust, and adoption
Represent ROYC at senior client meetings, industry events, roadshows, and relevant local conferences
Lead discovery, scoping, and solution design for complex private markets engagements
Produce institution-grade solution proposals adapted to local regulatory, operational, and commercial realities
Drive opportunities from first discussion to close with full accountability
Ensure a clean transition from commercial agreement to onboarding and long-term delivery
Maintain solution integrity as engagements move from concept to implementation
Work closely with investment, structuring, legal, compliance, and operations teams
Ensure regional regulatory, operational, and commercial constraints are reflected in execution
Coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver scalable, governance-credible solutions
Act as a structured feedback channel from the region into ROYC’s product, structuring, and operating roadmap
8–12+ years of experience in consulting, asset management, financial technology, or private markets distribution
Deep, hands-on knowledge of the private wealth market in Germany and/or Austria
Strong understanding of private markets products, including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and evergreen strategies
Proven experience working with sophisticated private wealth institutions and senior decision-makers
Comfort discussing structuring, governance, and operating concepts relevant to private markets
Strong consultative sales discipline with end-to-end deal ownership
Credible at CIO, Head of Investments, COO, CTO, and Partner level
Commercially sharp, structured, and solution-oriented
Able to combine strategic thinking with disciplined execution
High ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously
Comfortable in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
Fluent German and English required
