A fast-growing startup is looking for a VP of Engineering to lead the engineering team and drive the development of a no-code spatial storytelling platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in spatial computing and real-time graphics, along with a solid background in scaling products. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellence across product development. Imvizar is a leader in immersive spatial storytelling, creating powerful real world experiences for global partners including Salesforce, Google, Bupa, Spike Island, Grant Thornton, and the IRFU.
We are now launching Lureo, the worlds first no code spatial storytelling platform, opening this new creative medium to creators everywhere.

We are seeking a VP of Engineering (Spatial Computing) who has a proven track record of delivering high quality products at speed and scale. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of spatial computing, gaming technology, and modern web platforms, along with the ability to translate that knowledge into a world class creator experience.
This is a truly hands on role. You will lead and mentor the engineering team while also writing production level code, setting technical direction, and ensuring excellence across the entire product. Your leadership and expertise will shape the future of Lureo and help define the next generation of spatial storytelling for creators around the world.
Technical Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute the engineering roadmap for our no-code spatial storytelling platform.
Platform Development: Lead the architecture, development, and optimization of the platform, ensuring performance, scalability, and ease of use.
Innovation & R&D: Stay ahead of industry trends in spatial computing, AR / VR / MR, AI-driven content generation, and real-time 3D rendering.
Team Management & Growth: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team across multiple disciplines (e.g., software engineering, 3D graphics, AI, networking, and user experience).
Experience Production: Collaborate closely with creative and content teams to deliver immersive spatial storytelling experiences, ensuring technical feasibility and excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to align technical execution with company goals.
Quality & Performance: Establish best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, security, and deployment processes.

This position is ideally hybrid in Dublin / Ireland and home, however we are open to remote roles for the right candidate.
