Job summary

Goldman Sachs Internal Audit seeks a detail-oriented professional to join the third line of defense, independently assessing governance, risk management, and control processes across the firm’s functions.

You will manage scoping, planning, fieldwork, and reporting for audits focused on EU consumer protections and digital savings offerings, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with business teams to strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• Extensive audit experience in internal or external audit or related control function.
• Strong understanding of EU consumer protection regulation and related rules.
• Experience with data analytics and technology-enabled audits.
• Relevant certification considered a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks, assess controls, and propose improvements.
• Plan, scope, and execute audits with rigorous documentation.
• Supervise junior team members and ensure quality of fieldwork.
• Present findings to IA senior management and clients.
• Follow up on open audit issues and track resolutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IA processes.
