Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE preferred
• Experience advising on payments regulation in financial services
• Strong knowledge of PSD2, FCA rules and Consumer Credit Act
• Able to manage stakeholders across legal, compliance and commercial teams
• Commercially minded with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to operate in a large, fast-paced organisation

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on payments, cards and consumer finance products
• Advise on PSD2, FCA rules and Consumer Credit Act requirements
• Support product development teams on payment solutions launches and enhancements
• Collaborate with compliance, risk and business to manage regulatory change initiatives
• Draft, review and negotiate legal documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance
