Job summary

BNY Mellon in Manchester seeks a Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting I to lead the EMEA Private Equity reporting within GIA LPAAS. You will oversee daily/monthly client deliverables, validate NAVs and ensure timely, compliant reporting while driving the evolving operating model.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement across the UK and Europe.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing demands.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal teams.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract, interpret, and critically evaluate data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills and experience using AI, automation, or digital tools to improve processes desirable.
• Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on automation, transformation, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily/monthly audit cycle for GIA clients investing in Private Equity. Validate positions, transactions and NAV between Bank records and Investment Managers.
• Oversee and ensure client deliverables are met with accurate reporting and timely escalation for delays/errors.
• Oversee and authorise Capital Call payments for clients.
• Support workstreams to deliver client outcomes, and evolution of the operating model.
• Act as contact for regulatory matters, ensuring requirements are embedded by design.
