VP, Off Roster Finance
The Global Catalog division of Warner Music Group, is responsible for overseeing Warner’s vast, eclectic roster of iconic artists, labels, albums, and songs. Developed out of the groundbreaking catalog label Rhino Records, who continue to the pioneer the business with award-winning product releases and innovative marketing campaigns, Global Catalog works closely with the artists and Warner Music labels around the world such as Atlantic, Elektra, Parlophone, and Warner Records to develop new opportunities for all eras of catalog. The Warner catalog spans over eight decades, including material by some of the most important artists in the history of music including David Bowie, Michael, Bublé, Coldplay, John Coltrane, The Doors, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Madonna, The Notorious B.I.G., among many others.
Reporting to the CFO, Global Catalog this position will manage the financial reporting and planning for Off Roster repertoire globally by maintaining strong connections with Labels and Affiliates (L&A) around the world. You will also lead the finance teams for Global Classics and X5 responsible for financial reporting, financial planning & analysis, strategic deal analysis, cash management and coordination with RM and Corporate Finance.
Analyse L&A performance, during month end close and forecast cycles, to Budget and Prior year and identify key drivers
Review and distribute monthly reporting packages and review meeting decks
Oversee the calculation and communicate of updated streaming forecasts to L&A
Track achievement towards growth initiatives in partnership with Business Intelligence team
Analyse data by Market, Artist, DSP etc to determine drivers of performance supported by the Business Intelligence team
Oversee global marketing budget and provide forecasts to L&A finance teams
Liaise with L&A on all matters relating to Off Roster
Oversee the monthly financial close – involves coordination with various departments across the company, review of P&L, balance sheet and supporting schedules. Also includes analytical review of all revenue streams, margin costs, marketing, artists & repertoire investments and overhead with explanation of variances between results and projections.
Lead the team in budget process and financial forecasting – supervise the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
Evaluate and restructure operations and processes to ensure efficient running of the finance teams.
Provide recommendations with financial analysis to assist in business decision-making.
Responsible for ensuring proper internal controls are implemented at the label.

Degree in finance or accounting
10+ years of financial and management experience
Music industry experience
Advanced MS Office skills
