Job summary

PIMCO is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to cover a portfolio of EMEA names in non-financial investment grade and high yield sectors. You will report to the Head of European Credit Research and collaborate with Global Credit Research to assess issuers and opportunities.

In this role you will generate investment ideas for Portfolio Managers, conduct fundamental and relative value research, and prepare company evaluations, quarterly updates and industry reviews.

Qualifications

• Ideally over 5 years of experience in credit research, including HY.
• Strong financial modeling and relative value analysis skills.
• Ability to form judgments on a company’s position, risk and valuation.
• Proactive in developing investment ideas and presenting to Portfolio Managers.
• Excellent numeracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Solid academic record with CFA, accounting or MBA qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Generate and communicate investment ideas to Portfolio Managers.
• Provide fundamental and relative value research.
• Produce written reports: company evaluations, quarterly updates, industry reviews.
• Respond to Portfolio Manager inquiries on credit concerns, market overviews, and sector changes.
• Occasional interaction with clients or client service professionals.
