A volunteer audio recording service in Bishopbriggs seeks individuals to read and record content for visually impaired audiences. You can work from home or in the studio, using Audacity software for voice recordings. The role offers flexibility in scheduling and comes with training and support, making it an excellent opportunity for those passionate about helping others.
Read from our studios or from home, once a week, a month or even every day if you really want to. We need people to read from the Herald Scotland, The National and Glasgow Evening Times websites for our daily service and from the print edition of theintilloch Herald for the weekly edition of our most local newspaper. Most of our readers are now reading from their homes at a time that suits them on the day that they have chosen to read after speaking with our Studio Coordinator.
Comfortable and quiet environment. Training and ongoing support provided for those interested in being a Producer or Sound Technician.
Volunteer for Cue and Review Print Speaking to the Blind. Roles allow you to do this from home or at our studio. We provide support and assistance to make it as easy as possible.
