A local law enforcement agency in the United Kingdom seeks a Volunteer Police Cadet Leader. In this role, you will deliver engaging sessions, support cadets at community events, and create a safe environment for sharing concerns. A 5-year checkable history in the UK is required, along with the ability to positively interact with young people. Training will be provided, making this a rewarding opportunity to impact your community significantly. Sessions take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during term time.
Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm during term time in South Gloucestershire at Patchway Police Centre, Gloucester Road, Bristol, BS34 6PY.
Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm during term time in Central Bristol at Kenneth Steele House, Feeder Road, Bristol. BS2 OTQ.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 5 year 'checkable history' in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
No prior knowledge of policing is required, as we will provide all the necessary training and resources.
You will be supported by local policing teams and the Citizens in Policing team, who will stay in regular contact to assist with any questions you may have. Additionally, you will have access to a handbook and toolkit for guidance and support.

We will ask you to deliver a 15 minute activity with a cadet group & then you will have an interview. Date to be confirmed.
