A community support organization in the UK is seeking volunteers to be the first point of contact for visitors. The role involves creating a welcoming environment, assisting with registration paperwork, and supporting service users to access available services. Candidates must be 18 or older and willing to follow health and safety procedures. This volunteer role is vital in helping clients feel comfortable and supported during their treatment journey.
At Change Grow Live you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential.
We strive to ensure our services are warm and welcoming environments. Your role is to be the first point of contact within the service greeting all our visitors promptly in a friendly and courteous manner. You will be supporting reception dealing with initial queries, coordinating appointments, signposting to support available within the service and the community.
Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience so your role will be to make them feel at ease offering to make them a drink and supporting them to complete their registration form.
You will be a positive role model to the service users motivating, encouraging, and inspiring them to reach their potential. You will be provided with all the skills, training and support you will need to undertake the role.
