Fight for Sight is seeking a Volunteer & Learning Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role supports the Retail team to recruit, onboard and retain volunteers across 12 shops and one home day, helping shops raise funds for eye research.

The post reports to Head of Retail, with a 35-hour week and a salary of £30,000–£35,000. Applicants should have experience in volunteer management, recruitment, induction and learning delivery, plus strong coaching and data-driven improvement skills.

Formación

• Experience in volunteer management, learning and development, or related field.
• Experience in developing and delivering recruitment, induction, training or engagement programmes.
• Strong coaching and facilitation skills with ability to develop others.
• Ability to use data to monitor performance and identify improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Manage volunteer recruitment across 12 shops using online platforms and local channels.
• Create and maintain volunteer vacancies, respond to applications and onboard volunteers.
• Support Shop Managers with recruitment activities and guidance on best practice.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records, training records and onboarding documentation.
• Monitor recruitment activity and produce regular reports on applications, vacancies and numbers.
• Develop partnerships with community organisations and educational institutions.
