Overview

Provide vision and leadership for the charity’s financial and funding matters to support the projects: Collaboration for Kids and Food Addiction Solutions.

As a team of volunteers, we appreciate your valuable time. This voluntary position offers no monetary compensation but aims to provide job satisfaction and the opportunity to work with passionate, like-minded individuals committed to making a difference. The expected commitment is approximately 6-10 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust as projects develop.

What are we looking for?
  • Recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, AAT).
  • Experience in a similar role and knowledge of charity finances is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • IT literacy, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and guide colleagues on financial matters.

What will you be doing?

As Joint Head of Finance and Accounting, your main responsibilities include developing and leading financial strategies, policies, and initiatives to ensure the sustainability and reputation of The CHC and its projects. You will support project teams, build effective financial policies, and lead financial planning and risk management efforts. Your role involves working on projects focused on inspiring healthy eating among youth and advocating for food addiction recognition and treatment.
