Volunteer Now has partnered with Be Collective to bring a dedicated online platform for volunteering to Northern Ireland. The platform supports volunteers through the volunteering process and helps connect more people with a wider range of opportunities.

CLARE CIC is looking for Volunteer Drivers to support older adults in our community. Whether it's providing transport to one of our social groups or helping someone get to an outpatient hospital appointment, your time can make a real difference.

As a small community organisation, we rely on the kindness and generosity of our volunteer drivers to help older people stay connected, independent, and able to access the support they need.

Fuel expenses will be reimbursed, and you can volunteer as often as your availability allows.

A simple lift could mean the world to someone who has no other way to get there.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Drive older adults to and from groups appointments.
• Drive older adults to and from outpatient appointments (optional)
• Provide a friendly and supportive service.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Follow CLARE CIC's safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
• Report any concerns to the CLARE CIC team.
