Volunteer Admin Coordinator

Location: Carlton, Bedfordshire

Hours: Full‑Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Holidays: 34 days per year

Transport Requirement: Own transport essential

Salary: £26,422

We are seeking a passionate and highly organised Volunteer Admin Coordinator to join our client's team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the volunteer program, which involves over 70 dedicated individuals. Your expertise in administration and your ability to foster supportive relationships will help enhance our volunteer experience while ensuring the smooth operation of services.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective volunteer management system.
  • Schedule and manage rotas for all departments to ensure adequate coverage and support.
  • Provide ongoing support and training for volunteers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Conduct regular check‑ins with volunteers to assess satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to identify volunteer needs across various departments.
  • Organise volunteer events and recognition initiatives to promote engagement and appreciation.
  • Maintain accurate volunteer records and monitor data related to volunteer involvement.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new volunteers.
