What does a Companion Volunteer do?

At its core, this role is about being present for someone in need.

  • Supporting family members or carers - before and after bereavement

You'll receive full training and ongoing support from the Marie Curie Team, joining the Edinburgh Hospice community that cares just as much as you do.

  • Recognition and appreciation for your contribution.
  • Reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses.
  • The opportunity to make a lasting impact.
