Job Overview

Volunteer Car Drivers are needed to join our Patient Transport Service based in Hereford. As a volunteer, you’ll provide safe and reliable transportation for vulnerable patients to non‑emergency medical appointments, supporting the NHS and giving back to the local community.

Responsibilities
  • Drive patients to non‑emergency appointments.
  • Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Foster positive relationships within the community.
  • Offer reassurance and support to patients during their journeys.
  • Maintain a friendly and empathetic demeanour.
Qualifications
  • Valid driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Access to a 4‑door car (minimum).
  • Basic IT skills, including smartphone use.
