Job summary

Islington Council's Neighbourhood and Voluntary Sector Partnership Service is seeking an experienced Voluntary Sector Locality Officer to work with communities and local organisations to deliver projects, strengthen networks and support neighbourhood-led solutions that improve residents’ outcomes.

You will develop partnerships, support grant programmes and ensure community voices are at the heart of decision-making, working across council services and with external partners to tackle

Qualifications

• Experience working with voluntary, community or public sector organisations.
• Strong partnership-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience delivering projects, programmes or community initiatives.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A commitment to equality, inclusion and resident involvement.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
