A facilities management company in Watford seeks a Supervisor for Housing Repairs & Maintenance. You will lead the delivery of repairs, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, a relevant technical qualification, and strong interpersonal skills. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
In this role, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs and void preparation, with the freedom to bring your ideas and experience to life. You will be responsible for managing our service partners and sub-contractors, ensuring the delivery of responsive repairs and void works that meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You will own your outcomes, monitor performance, drive efficiency and ensure operational excellence. Working closely with the Delivery Manager, you will tackle challenges, celebrate wins and maintain service continuity.
Proven experience as a Supervisor in Housing Repairs & Maintenance, ideally managing contractors and service partners. A HNC or equivalent in a technical or trade-related field is desirable, as is a strong understanding of Schedule of Rates, compliance and contract management. You will be confident managing service partner performance with both professionalism and care. You should be comfortable with both digital systems and interpersonal communication.
