Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a professional voice actor based in the United Kingdom to record natural UK English dialogue in a professional studio for an AI speech project.

This contract role involves 2–3 sessions of 4 hours each, conducted in-person at a UK studio with direction to shape tone, pacing and delivery. Your performance will contribute to training AI speech systems and understanding of authentic British speech.

Voice Actor / Voice-Over Artist - UK English (AI Speech Project)

This is a contract role for experienced voice talent based in the United Kingdom. Your recordings will help AI hear the natural rhythms, textures, and nuances of authentic British speech - and your voice will be part of something genuinely significant.

Important: This project does not involve voice cloning.

What You'll Do

• Record natural, conversational UK English speech in a professional studio environment
• Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
• Deliver realistic, human-sounding dialogue - natural and unscripted in feel
• Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery across sessions
• Bring your performance skills to make every line feel genuine and spontaneous

Who You Are

• A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with real recording experience
• Native or near-native UK English speaker with a strong, authentic regional accent
• Currently based in the United Kingdom
• Comfortable performing natural conversational speech, not just formal narration
• Reliable, professional, and receptive to creative direction
• At ease in a studio environment and confident working with a team

Nice to Have

• Acting or performance background - theatre, film, or broadcast
• Experience in podcast production, commercial VO, or audiobook narration
• Prior studio session work in a professional recording environment
• Familiarity with dialogue-based or conversational recording formats
