Job summary

Alignerr is seeking professional UK English voice actors for paid studio recording sessions to help AI research teams build natural speech systems. This contract role is based in the United Kingdom and requires a native UK accent and the ability to deliver authentic dialogue.

What You'll Do

• Record natural, conversational UK English speech in a professional studio environment


• Participate in single-speaker recording sessions and dual-speaker dialogue exchanges


• Deliver realistic, unscripted-sounding speech across a range of tones and styles


• Follow light direction to vary pacing, tone, and delivery as needed


• Bring authentic British vocal character to every session

Who You Are

• A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with hands-on recording experience


• A native or near-native UK English speaker with a natural, authentic accent


• Currently based in the United Kingdom


• Comfortable performing natural conversation and dialogue — not just narration


• Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting


• Fluent in English at a working level for communication and session coordination

Nice to Have

• Acting or performance background


• Experience in broadcast, podcast production, or commercial voice-over


• Prior studio recording experience in a professional environment
