A leading telecommunications company is seeking a Vetting Compliance Officer to join their National Security Vetting team in Newbury. This role is pivotal for ensuring compliance with National Security Vetting obligations while maintaining strong relationships with government partners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of security vetting practices. The position offers a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility between office and remote work.
Location: Newbury + *Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

We’re recruiting for a Vetting Compliance Officer to join our National Security Vetting team, here at VodafoneThree.
The National Security Vetting Team, part of the VodafoneThree Government Security Team, is responsible for ensuring that VodafoneThree meets its National Security Vetting obligations for law enforcement, national security, critical national infrastructure, Government contracts and VodafoneThree’s own policy standards.
The activity of ensuring these requirements are in place, is undertaken by a team of Vetting Compliance Officers, who support all areas of the business by providing advisory services as well as in the management and implementation of our own National Security Vetting (NSV) policy. This policy must align with a number of legislative frameworks, some of which include the Government Functional Standard GovS 007 and the Industry Personnel Security Assurance Standard (IPSA).
As a Vetting Compliance Officer, you will become an expert in National Security Vetting and will play a key role in ensuring that VodafoneThree can continue to bid, win, deliver and support our Critical Government and Public Sector contracts and ensure we remain compliant with our legal obligations.
