Job summary

A leading telecommunications company is seeking an IT Support professional based in Stoke-on-Trent. This office-based role offers a salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits. Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems.
  • Experience with laptop and desktop hardware maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Lenovo and Dell hardware.
  • Familiarity with ITIL methodology in an operations environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to internal and external system users in person and/or virtually.
  • Deliver second-line support via the ticket system.
  • Support various Office IT processes and projects.
  • Assist new hires with initial laptop set-up.
  • Manage recovery of returned devices and keep accurate asset records.
  • Perform hardware recycling activities.
  • Build and distribute devices.
  • Administer shared mailboxes.

Skills

Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems
Experience with laptop and desktop hardware maintenance
Knowledge of Lenovo and Dell hardware
Familiarity with ITIL methodology

Location and Contract

Location: Stoke-on-Trent – Office based role, 5 days per week. Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits. Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday. Duration: 12 months fixed‑term contract.
