Job description

Vocational Course Co‑ordinator (EL130)

Salary: £26,592 to £29,838 (pro rata per annum)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 30 hours per week

Location: Ellesmere Port campus

Key Responsibilities
  • Reflect the vision, mission, aims and values of the college.
  • Show initiative in planning and organising allocated tasks.
  • Enter, retrieve and print data using a range of college systems and reports.
  • Set up and maintain spreadsheets.
  • Monitor and summarise key performance indicators such as attendance and retention information to assist Assistant Directors with interventions that support learners.
  • Support day‑to‑day enquiries and attendance for the English and maths department.
  • Record actions from ‘At Risk’ meetings and monitor progress.
  • Photocopy, present and distribute information and reports within the departments.
Person Specification
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Ability to carry out administrative duties effectively.
  • Excellent digital literacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability of successfully completing tasks to deadline and to a high standard.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
