Job description

VNA Operative – Full Time

We are recruiting for VNA Operative roles in the Unipart Logistics at Dordon, Tamworth (B78 1BF). Our client is seeking an experienced VNA Operative for their busy, rapidly expanding site. You will be working as part of a busy and committed team, servicing more than 900 retailers and trade partners across the UK and Ireland for Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA, SKODA, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and the Volkswagen Group's Trade Parts Services business.

Requirements

• Good communication skills and the ability to speak, read and write basic English.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Numerical and focused on accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy and experience of data inputting desirable.
• Ability to give attention to detail.
• Be physically fit and reliable.
• Reach Truck / VNA LICENSE or experience required.

Salary

Basic Rate – £12.78 per hour.

After passing VNA training – £13.34 per hour.

£2.40 shift allowance after 8pm.

Working Hours

Fixed PM:

Monday to Wednesday 14:30 – 23:00 / Thursday and Friday 14:00 – 22:00.

Job Responsibilities

• Picking a variety of car parts, both heavy and light, all shapes and sizes.
• Checking, storing and packing automotive goods either manually or using RDT technology to a high standard of accuracy.
• Working at heights.
• Working on an LLOP picking heavy parts from low locations.
• Using a counterbalance truck – can get cold in the winter.
• Standing for a long period of time, either on a VNA truck or LLOP.
• Abseiling from 12 metre height within VNA training.
• Being prepared to work in other areas of the warehouse.
• Being able to work as a team.
• Being able to hit picking targets on an hourly basis.
