Prolight Concepts (UK) Ltd is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative experienced in high-volume picking and stock control. The role emphasizes accurate order picking, stock rotation and safe handling of heavy products.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with ad-hoc VNA duties, maintain inventories, and ensure timely dispatch of goods. The position offers full-time hours and a structured benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a warehouse operative role in a high-volume environment.
• Experience handling heavy-duty products safely and efficiently.
• Comfortable with a physically active role and high daily step counts.
• VNA or forklift licence is essential for the VNA-focused element of the role.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles using manual handling techniques and equipment such as pallet trucks, FLT or VNA equipment where licensed.
• Unload deliveries from suppliers and couriers.
• Check goods against delivery notes and invoices.
• Label and store stock accurately in designated locations.
• Apply stock rotation methods including FIFO and LIFO.
• Pick items accurately from an inventory of more than 5,000 product lines.
• Pack goods securely and prepare them for dispatch.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
• Update inventory systems using manual and digital methods.
• Prepare and load orders for shipment.
• Operate forklifts, VNA trucks, pallet jacks and scanners where trained.
• Follow strict health and safety procedures at all times.
