Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced VNA Forklift Driver to join their busy client in Luton, on late shifts or night shifts. You will need to have a valid VNA Forklift licence and prior warehouse experience.

The role offers a temp-to-perm path after 12 weeks of temp work, with shifts including 14:00-22:30 (Mon-Fri, late) or 22:00-06:30 (Sun-Thurs, nights) and hourly rates of £14-£15.

Qualifications

• Valid VNA forklift licence required.
• Local to Luton or with easy commute.
• Available for immediate start.
• Physically fit and able to work nights/late shifts.
• Previous warehouse experience and computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Operate VNA forklift efficiently and safely.
• Pick and pack goods.
• Manage goods in/out and loading/unloading.
• Split duties 50/50 between general operative tasks and forklift duties.

For this role you'll need to have previous experience and confident operating a VNA Forklift and also a valid licence. The successful candidate will join on a temp2perm basis after 12 weeks temp work has been complete.

Shifts:

• Mon to Fri / Late Shift: 14:00 to 22:30 (Fri 11:00 to 19:30) - £14.00 per hour
• Sun to Thurs / Nights: 22:0 to 06:30 - £15.00 per hour

This role:

• operating VNA forklift
• picking and packing
• goods in / out
• loading and unloading
• 50/50 split of general operative duties & forklift driver duties

To be considered for this role you must have / be:

• a valid VNA Forklift licence (expired or in-house licences can't be used for this role)
• local to Luton or easily able to commute
• available for immediate start
• physically fit
• able to work on either nights or late shift
• previous warehouse experience
• computer literate
