Job description

VNA Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Heywood

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary:

• Night Shift (8:40pm - 6:30am): £14.48 per hour until trained inhouse on the Bendi Truck - the rate will then increase to £15.77 per hour

Are you an experienced warehouse operative with valid VNA licenses? We're hiring for permanent roles in a dynamic warehouse environment where your skills will be valued and developed.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials, equipment, and products.
• Transport items from receiving / production to storage or designated areas.
• Sort and place items on racks / shelves / bins by size, type, style, or product code.
• Assemble customer orders, package pallets, and complete relevant paperwork.
• Label incoming goods and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare outgoing products with correct labels and packaging.
• Operate SAP for stock checks, label creation, and consolidation.
• Safely operate warehouse vehicles and conduct daily equipment checks.
• Collaborate with supervisors and shipping clerks on schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) protocols and company standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid licenses for VNA (Very Narrow Aisle)
• Counterbalance
• Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) - desirable
• Ability to lift up to 25kg and operate hand trucks.
• Comfortable working at heights (up to 8 meters).
• Willingness to work near mechanical equipment and in varying conditions.
