Job summary

First Recruitment Ltd in Bedford is seeking a motivated VNA forklift driver to join our logistics client’s site. The role covers unloading, stacking, stock rotation and safety checks throughout a Monday–Friday schedule, with afternoon shifts.

Experience operating forklifts and a valid ITTSAR/RITTB certification are required. The job is full-time, on-site with overtime paid at 1.25x hourly rate after contracted hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as forklift operator.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination.
• Valid certification to operate forklifts ITTSAR/RITTB.

We are looking for VNA drivers with all levels of experience for our Global Logistics client based in , Bedford.

Monday-Friday (13:00 -21:30 OR 15:00 - 23:30)

Responsibilities

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Pick items from racking locations
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
