Job summary

Atos is seeking an experienced VMware & Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and automate infra platforms. The role emphasizes secure, scalable, highly available environments, with collaboration across architects, developers and stakeholders.

You will manage CI/CD pipelines, IaC with ARM/Bicep, and VMware/Azure integration in enterprise contexts, travelling to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Azure DevOps, VMware and Azure platform expertise required.
• Hands-on with ARM/Bicep templates and IaC.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise-scale solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and design/build capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure and support VMware and Azure infra platforms.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced VMware / Azure DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, automation, and ongoing management of VMware and Azure infrastructure platforms. You will work closely with architects, developers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions while driving DevOps best practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

About the Role

• Design, build, configure, and support VMware and Azure infrastructure platforms.
• Implement infrastructure solutions from approved HLDs and contribute to LLD creation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM Templates and Bicep.
• Manage VMware virtualisation environments and Azure cloud services.
• Manage source control and deployment processes using Git/GitHub and YAML.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, platform, virtualisation, and deployment issues.
• Ensure infrastructure environments are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimisation.
• Review technical issues and implement fixes, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Support infrastructure integration across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Contribute to successful project delivery through effective planning and cross-team collaboration.
