Job description
About OMNES

OMNES is a fast‑growing, design‑led womenswear brand on a mission to make responsible fashion accessible. We create considered, contemporary collections with responsible materials and a focus on longevity. As we continue to scale our retail footprint across the UK, we are looking for a Visual Merchandiser to elevate our in‑store experience and bring the OMNES brand to life across all physical touchpoints.

Role Overview

You will own all aspects of in‑store visual merchandising for OMNES retail stores, ensuring every space reflects our brand values: modern, sustainable, welcoming and commercially sharp. You’ll combine creativity with a strong analytical mindset – driving product performance through strategic visual presentation, window concepts, and rapid adaptations to trading patterns.

This role suits someone hands‑on, organised, commercially aware, and excited by the pace of a dynamic, high‑growth fashion brand.

Key Responsibilities
In‑Store Execution
  • Implement and maintain VM standards across all stores, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
  • Create and execute floor layouts, product adjacencies, and outfit builds that maximise sales and support key trends.
  • Lead the installation of windows, seasonal concepts, and product stories.
  • Ensure stores are visitor‑ready at all times, with strong attention to detail.
Commercial Trading
  • Monitor daily and weekly sales performance to inform adjustments to layouts and product focus.
  • React quickly to underperforming categories with tactical VM changes.
  • Support the Merchandising team on stock placement, density, and flow to maximise productivity.
  • Partner with Store Managers to drive conversion, AOV, and basket composition through visuals.
Brand & Creative
  • Work closely with the Creative and Marketing teams on visual storytelling, campaign launches, and retail moments.
  • Support the development of window schemes, props, in‑store signage, and sustainability messaging.
  • Ensure all physical executions reflect OMNES’ environmental values – from materials to installation methods.
New Store Openings
  • Lead VM planning and set‑up for new stores and pop‑ups.
  • Produce VM packs, guides, and training materials for new teams.
  • Support fit‑out from a VM perspective, ensuring fixtures, lighting and layouts are optimised.
Guidelines & Standards
  • Maintain up‑to‑date VM guidelines for store teams.
  • Deliver on‑site coaching to ensure teams understand and implement OMNES standards.
  • Conduct regular store walks, photo reports, and action plans.
Operational Excellence
  • Manage VM budget for props, window materials and in‑store updates.
  • Source sustainable materials and minimise waste across all VM activity.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S procedures during installations.
Skills & Experience
Essential
  • 4+ years’ VM experience in fashion retail.
  • Strong creative eye with the ability to translate trends into commercial layouts.
  • Excellent understanding of store operations and retail KPIs.
  • Exceptional organisation and ability to work independently.
  • Confident communicator who can influence store teams and cross‑functional partners.
  • Ability to work at pace with shifting priorities.
  • Competent in Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools (InDesign/Illustrator beneficial).
Desirable
  • Experience in sustainable or contemporary womenswear.
  • Multi‑site VM experience.
  • Experience working with new store openings or pop‑ups.
What We Offer
  • Opportunity to shape the visual identity of a rapidly growing, mission‑driven brand.
  • Ownership, autonomy and genuine impact on store performance.
  • A creative environment where sustainability and innovation sit at the heart of everything.
