Job summary

The London Borough of Bexley invites applications for an apprenticeship in the Council's Communications Team, supporting marketing, design, resident engagement and digital activity across the Borough.

You will develop skills in planning campaigns and creating engaging visuals using videos, photos and graphics to raise awareness among residents, with a pathway toward a Level 3 Multi-channel Marketer. The role is fixed-term for 2 years and requires 3–4 days in the office.

Qualifications

• This apprenticeship ideal for someone with a keen interest in the Borough and reaching a wide audience of residents.
• Strong visual creativity and a passion for working with images, video and visual design.
• Excellent organisational skills; comfortable with a range of technologies.
• Prepared to travel across the Borough to capture videos and photos.

Responsibilities

• Support the Council's Communications Team in marketing, design, resident engagement and digital activities across the Borough.
• Produce engaging visuals using videos, photos and graphics to raise awareness.
• Assist with Bexley Magazine and other external websites, social media and e-newsletters.
