Job summary

A national charity providing support in the criminal justice system is seeking a Visits Centre Assistant to work 7 hours per week. You will assist families visiting incarcerated individuals and support the planning of family work. Ideal candidates will have experience working in challenging environments, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. This part-time role offers a salary of £4,444.50 per annum pro-rata and various benefits including a Cycle to Work Scheme.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have experience and understanding of working with families in a challenging environment, ideally involving offenders and / or their families. You will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding work load. You will have the ability to contribute to planning and development of Pacts family work and also have knowledge of safeguarding / child protection practice. Furthermore, you will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in build partnerships with a range of agencies.
