Job summary

Prestolee Multi Academy Trust seeks an inspirational Headteacher to lead The Derby High School in Bury. You will set a clear vision, drive school improvement and secure excellent outcomes for all pupils.

You will foster an inclusive culture, develop leadership capacity and set high expectations for behaviour and achievement. You will work with staff, governors and the wider community to sustain high standards, safeguard pupils, oversee day-to-day operations and contribute to Trust-wide

Qualifications

• Strong track record of leadership within a secondary school.
• Ability to set and communicate a strategic vision for sustained improvement.
• Deep understanding of teaching, curriculum, assessment and pedagogy.
• Commitment to excellent outcomes for all pupils, including SEND and disadvantaged.
• Ability to build a safe, inclusive school culture with high expectations.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and welfare commitment.
• Ability to inspire and retain talented staff and develop leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage pupils, parents, governors and the wider community.
