Job summary

Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust is seeking an inspirational Headteacher for Whaplode Church of England Primary School to drive a Christian vision and high educational standards. You will provide professional leadership, manage day-to-day operations, and work across the Trust to raise pupil achievement.

You will lead curriculum development, develop staff, handle safeguarding, finance and governance, and foster community links.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status with a successful NQT year completed
• National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) or working towards it
• Significant experience as Headteacher/Deputy Head/Head of School with sustained improvement
• Understanding of Church of England mission and values, with experience in a Church School
• Ability to develop and maintain a clear vision, lead change creatively and communicate with diverse audiences
• Strong financial planning and budgetary management skills with knowledge of best value principles
• Demonstrated expertise in appointment, personnel management and leading educational initiatives

Responsibilities

• Embed the Trust vision across the school and work with governors and community
• Lead teaching and learning by supporting curriculum development and data-driven progress
• Develop staff through induction, professional development and performance reviews
• Manage school organisation including School Development Plan and resource management
• Ensure accountability with clear staff responsibilities and reporting educational performance
• Strengthen community links and collaborate with agencies to meet pupil needs
• Lead as Designated Safeguarding Lead and manage the Single Central Record
