Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd's client in Liverpool is seeking a Production Technician to join the dynamic Production Team. You will operate video equipment and contribute to conferences and events, working across vision, lighting, sound, rigging and projection setups.

The role requires experience in live events, knowledge of health and safety, ability to manage multiple priorities, good communication and customer service, and capability to supervise casual and freelance staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience within live events, entertainment or corporate presentation environments.
• Knowledge of production processes within a busy multi-venue facility.
• Understanding of Health and Safety legislation and safe working practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Resilience, confidence, emotional intelligence and attention to detail.
• Experience working on large corporate events, sporting events, concerts or exhibitions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate technical equipment during live events across Vision, Lighting, Sound, Rigging and Counterweight Flying.
• Support event delivery during get-ins, fit-ups and get-outs.
• Assist the Senior Technician
• Work with networking, NDI, projection equipment and patching systems.
• Liaise professionally with clients, production companies and internal stakeholders.
• Support and supervise casual, freelance and partner staff as required.
