An education recruitment agency in Lancashire is seeking a compassionate Virtual Teacher to provide online education for students facing various barriers. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, managing student behaviour, and ensuring educational continuity. Ideal candidates should be proficient with digital platforms and experienced in handling Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Flexible working arrangements and competitive salary up to £30,000 are offered.
The Virtual Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality, engaging online education to students who cannot access mainstream settings due to medical needs, anxiety, or specific Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) barriers. This role requires expertise in differentiated online teaching, behaviour management strategies suitable for a virtual environment, and proficiency in digital learning platforms.
We are seeking a dedicated and technologically proficient Virtual Teacher to join our compassionate Alternative Provision (AP) team, focusing on students in the Accrington area. This is a crucial, remote role dedicated to reaching students who cannot attend physical school due to complex needs, including severe anxiety, medical conditions, or other Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) barriers.
You will be instrumental in ensuring continuity of education, building strong virtual rapport, and managing student engagement in an online setting. If you are passionate about blending education with therapeutic understanding, this is the role for you.
Ready to lead our virtual learning provision starting in January 2026.
