We are looking for a Virtual MSK Physiotherapist – a team player who is enthusiastic, experienced and keen to apply their MSK skills in a remote, patient‑centred environment.
IMPORTANT: We only take applications from candidates living in the United Kingdom with at least 3 years of post‑graduate clinical experience in the UK.
Position
A fully remote role that allows you to work from home while delivering high‑quality virtual physiotherapy services to corporate clients and occupational health providers. Full training in our digital platforms will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments (telephone and video) and manage your individual caseload of MSK patients.
- Deliver and advise on treatment in line with evidence‑based medicine and established guidelines.
- Compile accurate clinical notes and correspondence in accordance with IPRS standards.
- Make appropriate recommendations for treatment and onward referral on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Maintain and work towards key KPIs specific to the role of Virtual Physiotherapist.
- Serve as a clinical point of contact for non‑clinical personnel seeking advice or information.
- Engage in clinical audit duties and related responsibilities as directed by the Clinical Lead.
- Prioritise tasks, manage time and meet deadlines accurately.
- Contribute to business development activities, such as commercial tenders and presentations for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with Clinical Leads to align service provision with local, national and regulatory initiatives.
- Support the development of new clinical initiatives and innovations.
- Undertake any other duties compatible with the grading of the post as required.
Qualifications – Essential
- Formally qualified Clinical Physiotherapy degree.
- Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Minimum 3 years post‑graduate clinical experience in the UK.
Qualifications – Desirable
- Experience using Microsoft Office and clinical reporting databases.
- Experience of telephonic and video triage calls.
Experience
- Previous experience in using Microsoft Office (E).
- Previous experience of using online/computerised reporting templates/databases and interpreting statistics for managing/reporting (D).
- Previous UK experience as a Physiotherapist (D).
- Experience of undertaking telephonic/video triage calls (D).
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to work within a team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
- Capacity to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Time‑management skills to meet agreed deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Capability to collate and produce statistics, reporting regularly to the Clinical Lead.
- Understanding of client needs and ability to adapt services accordingly.
- Maintenance of accurate medico‑legal recording.
- Proficiency with databases and Microsoft programmes.
- Good understanding of clinical governance.
Other Information and Benefits
Salary: £30,000‑£35,000 (full‑time 40 hours per week; pro‑rata part‑time).
Hours: 20‑40 hours per week, flexible between 08:00 and 20:00 Monday‑Friday; no weekend work.
Contract: Permanent. Remote working – candidates must be based in the United Kingdom.
