Virtual Care Advisor

Location : Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury, SY3 8HQ

Salary : £13.90 per hour PAYE.

Hours : Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday : 9am - 5pm with 30 minute unpaid break.

Duration : Temporary basis, 3-month temporary contract with potential for fixed-term opportunity.

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our Client, Shropshire Council , for a dedicated individuals to join our pioneering Virtual Care Delivery Service , which uses Technology Enabled Care (TEC) to provide remote support to clients across the region.

What You'll Do :

  • Deliver scheduled remote video care calls to individuals, promoting independence and wellbeing.
  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations and prompt daily tasks such as mealtimes, personal care, and medication.
  • Monitor TEC systems and dashboards to ensure prompt acknowledgements and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time records of all interactions using our designated system.
  • Provide consistently excellent customer service and contribute to a supportive virtual care environment.

What We're Looking For :

  • Relevant previous care experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant.
  • Strong IT literacy and confidence using digital systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and provide empathetic support remotely.
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of confidentiality, with a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach.
