Job summary

A leading global defence company is seeking a Videographer and Editor to support creative projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in video production, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and strong visual storytelling skills. This role includes both studio and on-location filming, extensive collaboration with teams and partners, and occasional travel around the UK. A Foundation Degree in a relevant field is required, along with full SC clearance for security purposes.

6 Months contract

Based: BAE Warton

Hourly Rate £24.79 PAYE or £33.24 Umbrella inside IR35

37 Hours per week – onsite 2 - 3 days per week

Travel around the UK is required

Overview

BAE Systems is looking for a Creative Advisor to join their Communications team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and technically skilled individual to support the development and delivery of high-quality video, animation, and visual content across a range of internal and external communications platforms

Skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • A creative thinker with a strong eye for visual storytelling and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in media production, shown through a strong portfolio.
  • Confident using digital cameras and filming equipment.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Foundation Degree or equivalent in Photography, Video/TV, Animation, Design or related field, plus relevant hands-on experience
The Job
  • Conceptualise, design, and produce engaging animations and videos that align with brand and messaging goals.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Film and edit video content in studio and on location across various environments.
  • Manage and maintain video equipment and editing software.
  • Stay current with trends and technologies in video production and animation.
  • Ensure high artistic and technical standards in all outputs.
  • Coordinate with external video/photography agency partners.
  • Travel occasionally to support filming across UK sites.
