What Car? is Britain’s leading source of car buying advice and is seeking a Video Production Manager to join our editorial team in Twickenham, Greater London. The role directs end-to-end video production for the What Car?

YouTube channel, from shoot planning to editing, ensuring timely, high-quality output. Reporting to the Reviews Editor, you will lead the video production team, manage schedules, liaise with freelancers and partners, and uphold brand standards while delivering engaging content

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of full video production workflows.
• Encyclopaedic knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects and CC.
• Experience managing YouTube channel content and scheduling.
• Fluency with camera, lighting and audio gear.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-day video shoots and oversee post-production editing.
• Direct and manage the video production team and freelancers.
• Oversee day-to-day YouTube channel operations and scheduling (up to three videos weekly).
• Develop production schedules to maintain workflow and deadlines.
• Serve as central contact for internal/external video production inquiries.
