A media company in Wolverhampton is looking for a Video Producer to enhance video output for local news and engage audiences across social media platforms. The candidate will create high-quality video content, lead video workflows, and train journalists. Strong video production skills and familiarity with digital platforms are essential. Weekend and flexible shifts are required.
The Express & Star and Shropshire Star - two trusted and long-established brands in the West Midlands - are creating an exciting new role for a Video Producer to deliver excellence in our newsrooms.
The successful candidate will be a specialist in driving best-in-class video output to fuel audience, engagement and revenue growth.
You will plan, shoot and edit high-quality content to distribute across all digital platforms in the required formats.
Training wider teams and sharing expertise forms a crucial part of the role, as well as a relentless focus on productivity and driving a video-first culture within the teams.
You will be highly-skilled, motivated and driven to achieve success. An expert knowledge of video kit, software and technology is essential, as well as knowledge of content creation types and formats that work across all digital channels, including Facebook and YouTube.
Weekend working and flexible shift patterns (including evenings) will be mandatory as well as a driving licence and own vehicle.
