Job summary

FREEDOM is seeking a Video Editor & Social Media Executive to join our Hertford-based Marketing Team. You will create engaging video content for social platforms, produce posts for social feeds and help manage promotional campaigns while maintaining the FREEDOM website.

You should have experience in video editing for web and social media, a strong grasp of platforms, plus the ability to write engaging copy for web, social and email. Travel interest is a plus.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Marketing Team, to share our latest holidays and offers with our clients and followers, and to increase general awareness of the FREEDOM brand to grow our customer base.

Your role will include:

• Creating short form videos for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
• Producing other posts and content for social media
• Creating inspirational videos for the FREEDOM website
• Sourcing and organising video and photo content
• Helping run promotional campaigns with tourist boards and suppliers
• Website updates and maintenance

It’s a full time position, five days a week, and reports to the Social Media Manager.

Your Experience

To be successful in the role you will need:

• Experience editing video, for website and social media
• A strong understanding of social media platforms
• A keen eye for imagery
• The ability to write engaging content for web, social and email
• The ability to work accurately under pressure
• A good geographical knowledge and an interest in travel

Marketing and/or travel industry experience or qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential, as training will be provided. More important are ideas and creativity.

The Team

During your training programme you’ll have sessions with managers in each department, to give you a thorough understanding of the ethos of the company, how we work and the goals we are trying to achieve.
