Qualifications

  • Teaching qualification meeting NI grant-aided school recognition.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification teaching experience in primary education or equivalent.
  • Evidence of strategic leadership or coordination experience in a school setting.
  • Evidence of involvement in strategic planning and school improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead learning through high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Assist the Principal in all aspects of leading learning, school administration and organisation.
  • Lead School Development Planning, Self-Evaluations and Staff Development (INSET).
  • Coordinate curriculum development and TransformEd across key stages.
  • Oversee timetables, mentoring interventions and child protection responsibilities.
  • Promote positive behaviour and foster links with parents and community.
