Job summary

East Durham College invites applications for a senior leadership role to deliver an ambitious curriculum and lead teaching, learning and student outcomes across the college. You will drive quality assurance, compliance and continuous improvement while aligning with regulatory requirements.

As a key member of the College Leadership Group, you will influence colleagues, shape strategic objectives and foster an inclusive, high-performing environment with a strong focus on safeguarding and staff

Qualifications

Degree level or equivalent.
GCSE maths and English or equivalent.
Recognised teaching qualification at level 5.
Evidence of continuing commitment to CPD.
DBS check may be required.

Responsibilities

Deliver an ambitious curriculum and provide strategic leadership to enhance teaching, learning and student outcomes across the college.
Lead quality assurance and compliance ensuring consistency and continuous improvement with regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the College Leadership Group to drive strategic objectives and motivate colleagues.
