Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Finance to lead the company's financial operations and drive enterprise-wide financial strategy. This executive role will be instrumental in shaping the financial direction of the organization, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering accurate and timely financial insights. The Vice President will provide financial leadership to the executive team and board of directors, while fostering a high-performing finance organization. This role requires deep expertise in financial planning, compliance, and risk management, along with a proven ability to lead and scale teams in a dynamic business environment.

Essential Job Functions
  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Lead and inspire the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee financial operations, including cash flow management, capital planning, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and policies to safeguard company assets.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance, including corporate, state, and local obligations.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, developing mitigation strategies to protect the organization.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute long-term strategic plans.
  • Evaluate the financial implications of new business opportunities, partnerships, and investments.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, promoting professional growth and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence across the department.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by executive leadership.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field, required (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven experience in the data center industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, planning, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
