Vice President, HSSE, Asset Integrity & ESG Performance

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Relocation required

Reports to: Executive Director

Role Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and action orientated Vice President to support the Executive Director in planning, managing and maintaining the HSSE and Asset Integrity components of Corporate Operations Management System, This role is crucial in monitoring, reporting, and taking corrective actions on all HSSE and Asset Integrity matters across our regional operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership : Develop, implement and promote execution of effective HSSE and Asset Integrity objectives, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
  • Policy Development : Develop, Maintain and enhance the Operations Management System, ensuring compliance with best practices and legislative requirements. Develop, maintain and update HSSE&AI related corporate standards.
  • Performance Monitoring : Conduct audits, monitor compliance with HSSE & AI legislation, and implement necessary improvements.
  • Health and Safety : Analyze accident trends, ensure proper investigations, and promote a proactive safety culture.
  • Environmental Management : Integrate environmental management into all operational policies and procedures.
  • Asset Integrity and Process Safety : Ensure robust Asset Integrity and Process safety plans are in place and continuously improved.
  • Business Continuity : Oversee the management of Business Continuity Plans across all relevant facilities.
  • Budget Management : Contribute to the preparation of HSSE and Asset Integrity budgets, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering with an internationally recognized HSSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma).
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with in-depth knowledge of HSSE, Asset Integrity, Process Safety and Business Continuity issues.
  • Strong leadership, planning, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Candidates must be physically fit and able to pass a strict offshore medical examination, including a physical stress test.
