The Estates Intelligence model and our 6 A methodology; Aggregation, Automation, Asset Management, Assurance, Audit and Analytics, enable the strategic management of estates and facilities services, which is an evolving model in the FM market.
As part of the ongoing growth of its Estates Intelligence, KBR is actively recruiting to expand its team to deliver current and future public sector Estates Intelligence contracts.
We are seeking a VIAverse Technology Lead to support the delivery of our technology platform across all clients. The role holder will be responsible for managing the delivered solution across internal and external stakeholders, and to ensure the safe and effective delivery of all services to clients. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring that all technology systems are understood, effectively managed from a technical perspective, and may take the lead of smaller change and delivery projects. They will also play a part in working with clients to manage systems change requirements. They will lead on the deployment of best practice training and skills development standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent stakeholder management skills, vendor management acumen, and a deep understanding of infrastructure management best practice. And would benefit from experience and proficiency in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences with a proactive nature to ensure they remain connected to best practice developments and concepts outside of KBR that align with or are complementary to our technology systems and the needs of our clients.
This role requires close collaboration and strong working relationships with many areas of the business, including: business development, project management, technical delivery teams, and senior management to assure stability over system operations and small delivery projects.
Responsible for overseeing and delivering best practice technical standards and ways of working regarding infrastructure and information management.
Oversee management from suppliers regarding security standards, service delivery, and planning.
Align solution with the needs of our clients and wider Public Sector / Central Gov trends.
Ensure solutions adhere to compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance solution offerings.
Own aspects of growth, such as sustainability offerings.
Contribute to technical solution bid responses, ensuring clear articulation of value proposition and technical feasibility.
Work with support and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve solution issues, drawing upon expertise in solution design and build, and partner network.
The role operates hybrid and agile working practices, with requirement to regularly attend Leatherhead HQ, and occasional travel to Swindon National Service Hub and both vendor and client sites (typically London). Days in office to be negotiated as part of the interview process.
