Job summary

Oakwood Veterinary Referrals – Northwich is seeking a clinically experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Nursing team at the Tier 3 Referral Centre in Northwich, Cheshire. The role focuses on theatre nursing and diagnostic investigations, working alongside consultants in Orthopaedics, Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery.

We offer a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), across 4 or 5 days, with a pro-rata on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Theatre nursing and diagnostic investigations are core to the role.
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to learn are essential.
• Role involves working with consultants in Orthopaedics, Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide theatre nursing support and care during procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic investigations and case management.
• Collaborate with specialists across orthopaedics, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.
• Work 37.5 hours per week across 4–5 days, with pro-rata on-call rota.
