Job summary

Vets Now Bridgwater is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for a weekend role in our out-of-hours ECC service, hosted by IVC – Blake Vets. You will join a supportive team delivering high-standard emergency care.

The clinic is equipped with Dental X-ray, Ultrasound, Endoscopy and Laparoscopy, with shifts including Saturday 12:00–19:00 and Sunday 07:00–19:30, plus options to discuss other hours. Benefits and ongoing training are provided.

Vets Now is excited to announce the upcoming opening of our out-of-hours service, Vets Now Bridgwater, working within our host practice IVC – Blake Vets.

Now for work/life balance

Within this weekend role we have the following shifts available, which also includes a fair share of bank holidays:

• 12pm-7pm Saturday and 7am-7.30pm Sunday (weekend day shifts once a month/1:4)
• 6.30pm-8am Saturday and Sunday (weekend night shifts once a month/1:4)

How many and which of the available shifts to be worked can be discussed further, we will try to work around your lifestyle and clinic requirements.
